Wheel mounting stands keep rims centered & prevents them from moving around, causing misalignment during the fitment process. Rims sit on the foot of the stand while the tyre handler places the tyre horizontally over rim.  Tyre beads can easily get damaged during horizontal fitment & once the bead is damaged it can’t be repaired so a wheel mounting stand is an essential piece of equipment in your tyre workshop.
